Case study : collaboration between Swiss and Philippines

Introduction This case study demonstrates the cultural gap and difference in the way of working of Europeans and Philippians. Problem When the author and his/her team had a meeting with local members of the staff (Philippians) , they were very kind and always answered yes to their questions. Despite always replying affirmatively they would never complete their task on time which made the organisers nervous and helpless as the work would be impossible to complete without their help. This illustrates that people of different culture have different way of working. Solution The rising tension between the European organisers and the Philippians could only be resolved if both of them would respect and understand each other's way of working and lifestyle . My achievements

Since childhood I have been keen in participating in all sorts of events. I learnt karate when I was 6 years old and continued till blue belt. I learnt abacus when I was in 3rd standard. I participated in one tournament of abacus but couldn’t secure a prize. I started playing chess when I was in 4th standard. I participated in around 20-30 tournaments and won 11 trophies in my entire carrier as a chess player. I Won under 11 chess state tournament and got to play on national level. When I was in 6th grade I also created a website on games which had the url : www.gamewink.in I started earning money through my site at a very young age. Throughout my life I have been eager to participate in extracurricular activities like speaking in school assembly , participating in debates, and participating in inter school competitions.
